DESCRIPTION:Ioana Niculescu\, Jefferson Lab\n\nQuark-hadron duality reflect
s the relationship between the quark and\nhadron descriptions of hadronic
processes and is related to the nature\nof the transition from non-perturb
ative to perturbative QCD. The\nphenomenon of duality can be studied in a
variety of processes\, such\nas e+e- annihilation\,
deep inelastic scattering\, heavy quark\ndecays\, etc. Recent data on in
clusive electron-proton and\nelectron-deuteron inelastic scattering obtain
ed at Jefferson Lab were\nutilized for precision tests of quark-hadron dua
lity. These results\nwill be presented\, together with future plans of tes
ting/expanding the\nconcept of quark-hadron duality at Jefferson Lab.
