ABSTRACT:
Over the past several years, deep searches with the world's largest radio telescopes have uncovered several truly exotic pulsar systems. Observations of these objects using the incredibly precise techniques of pulsar timing, allow us to
probe regimes of gravitational, electromagnetic,
plasma, and particle physics that are impossible
to reach in laboratories here on earth. In this talk I'll discuss several of the most interesting recent discoveries and show how they are onstraining gravitational theories, plasma physics, and the physics of matter at supranuclear densities.
