Research Interests:

Prof. Weber´s research centers on relativistic few body theory in nuclear and particle physics. Topics of particular interest include the role of spontaneous chiral symmetry breakdown in QCD and chiral quark models, quark dynamics in baryon resonances and nuclear structure. Gauge field theory and relativistic many body quantum theories, such as light front and instant forms, are being applied to bound multiquark systems and light nuclei. Electron scattering, deep inelastic lepton scattering, weak and various strong reactions are analyzed as probes of relativistic few body states. Collaborations are underway with the University of Rostock in Germany.
