Course Objectives

Course Rules and Regulations:
It is extremely important for students to be aware of these rules and regulations which may change throughout the course. Changes will be announced in class, and will be listed on this webpage. Students are responsible for keeping up with the Course Rules and Regulations as stated here.

Homework Assignments:
Every week homework problems will be assigned, and the solutions will be posted on the Web before the following Tuesday lecture. Homework will not be graded, but it will be good training for the (graded) in-class quizzes. The Course Instructor and Teaching Assistant are available to help you with your homework, however, before seeking help, you should attempt to solve the problems yourself or together with a fellow student, You are also encouraged to work out more of the problems found in the textbook, or at least to look at them, and to convince yourself whether or not you feel comfortable in solving them.
