  10. Vacuum techniques.
  11. X-ray diffraction.
  12. Zeeman effect.
    1. Splitting of mercury spectral lines in a magnetic field.
  13. Scanning Probe Microscopy.
  14. Use of atomic force microscope and scanning tunneling microscope to study surfaces of various samples
     
    Magnetic levitation / Densimeter  [See notebook for instructions and background].
            Measure the density of water as a function of temperature using a magnetic float.
