Acceptance & Registration

Acceptance

The requirement for acceptance into the course is that you are licensed to teach in secondary/middle/elementary schools and you have a degree from a 4 year College. If so, you will also be eligible for the educator rate. Exceptions can be made to the above rule.

Registration

There are two ways to register:

Method 1

Call 434-982-5313 and register over the phone. You may also pay tuition by credit card (VISA, Master Card, Am. Ex) over the phone. Shirley Yowell in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SCPS will assist you with registration over the phone.

Method II

You may also register online through SCPS at http://www.scps.virginia.edu/registeroption.htm. Unless you have experience in registering in one of our programs, it is best to call the first time. More details about other physics distant learning courses and degree programs can be found at http://www.scps.virginia.edu/.
