Lat tice QCD can provide nonperturbative information about the three-dimension al structure of hadrons including TMDPDFs and their evolution. I will pres ent recent exploratory lattice QCD calculations of the Collins-Soper kerne l describing the rapidity evolution of quark TMDPDFs. I will also discuss the outlook for achieving lattice QCD predictions of the Collins-Soper ker nel\, and eventually complete lattice QCD predictions of TMDPDFs\, with co ntrolled systematic uncertainties and phenomenologically relevant precisio n.
