The Physics Building (Jesse Beams Laboratory) is to remain locked at all times with the following exceptions:

• Normal business hours: The six exterior doors to the Old Building (the four on the main floor, the one by the loading dock, and the one by room 022) shall be unlocked during normal business hours (nominally 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday).



• Night Classes: The first floor handicapped access door shall be unlocked to allow access to night classes and labs.



• Special Events: A minimum set of doors shall be unlocked to allow appropriate access for special events (e.g., Physics Night). The first floor handicapped access door shall be a member of this set. The sponsor of the event shall be responsible for ensuring that the doors are locked when the event is over.
