The Annual NATIONAL PHYSICS DAY SHOW

The 27th Annual Physics Day Demonstration Show will be held at 7 pm on Thursday evening, April 20, 2023, in room 101 of Nau Hall, 1540 Jefferson Park Ave, at the University of Virginia to celebrate National Physics Day. Admission is free.
This highly anticipated event is a superb physics demonstration show for the general public, especially K-12 students and families. Parking is available in the Central Grounds Garage on Emmett Street or, after 5:00 pm, near the football stadium.
The theme of the show this year is ENERGY. Physics professors Marija Vucelja, Xiaochao Zheng, Dima Pesin, Bob Jones, Jency Sundararajan, Peter Schauss, lecture demonstrator Al Tobias, and UVa physics students will introduce the crowd to the science behind different types of energy.

Nau Hall is about 10 minutes walking from Central Grounds Parking Garage and Stadium Parking.Parking near/at the Stadium:

- From Emmet Street, turn right onto Stadium Rd.
- Continue on Stadium Rd., then turn right onto Whitehead Rd.
- Stadium Parking will be on your left.
From Emmet Street take a left into Central Ground Parking Garage.
